Mrs. Wills' Web page/ Technology Usage Agreement Form
Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year. With this new academic year starting, I would like to introduce a few new technologies that I plan to use to enhance your student’s learning in my classroom:
Cellphone/electronic device Use
Students may be asked from time to time to use an electronic device for class use. Students should be using their devices for class use only. Answers used from class may also be posted on the website. Students who use electronic devices for reasons other than class use will have their device taken away and sent to the office as per the student handbook.
Website
My website was developed as an extension of the classroom. The goal is to provide students with information that will help them be successful learners. Regularly, I will post homework assignments as well as notes from lessons. I also will have a few podcasts concerning content that I feel students may need to have to revisit from time to time. There are also flip cards, games, etc. to help your student study vocabulary and terms important to the class. Please check this website regularly for updates as well as possible important dates/projects/tests that are coming up.
Rules to Mrs. Wills Online Site/Help Sessions
All concept/rules associated with RAP (see Rules and Expectations sheet) should be followed.
Consequences
If students are in violation of proper technology usage, he/she may be removed from using Mrs. Wills’ website, blog, and/or help sessions.
